  • Enter the "secret" name of your server below. This is MANDATORY to prevent abuse by others. We will NOT take an action without the correct secret name _for_ the server you are reporting problems on.

  • Can you ping the IP address of your server?
    Yes. No. I don't know.
  • Can you obtain access to your server to administer it?
    Examples: For unix/linux machines, can you telnet? For NT machines, can you use pcANYWHERE?
    Yes. No. I don't know.
  • Are the server functions of your machine working correctly?
    Examples: web, email, database.
    Yes. No. I don't know.
    If your primary web site is down, what is it's address? (Example: www.professionals.com)

  • Requesting and Authorizing Action:

    Power Cycle
    Web Professionals staff will physically unplug your machine, wait a minute and plug it back in again.
    You agree to take responsibility for any problems resulting from power cycing this machine.

    Warm Boot
    Web Professionals will attempt to gain access to the server with the password you have given us and perform a "clean reboot".
    If this is not successful or we do not have login information for your server, Web Professionals staff will NOT power cycle this machine. You must make a separate request to power cycle this machine.

    Restart remote admin access only
    Web Professionals will attmpe to restart the remote administrator access such as pcANYWHERE on the server. If unsuccessful, the above actions will not be taken unless specifically requested.
